The opportunity to get away over the Australia Day long weekend was taken and we headed back to a region we had got to know well during the 1970-80s. Licola and the high plains to the north are a special place where we have bushwalked in all conditions. It was time to go back and reacquaint ourselves with the beautiful part of Victoria.
