We have moved to the north east corner of Shikoku but our walk has us back in the mountains, this time between temples 80 and 82.

Shikoku 88 Pilgrims Walk – Day 4
Today was a walk between temples located on separate mountain tops. As a result we scaled great heights and went down into deep valleys crossing rivers and streams to get to our destination.

Today was no walk in the countryside. We covered over 20 kms walking between 5 temples. We have followed streams that developed into rivers and narrow tracks that developed into formed paths as we continued on our pilgrims walk.
