The Tasmanian wilderness had been a drawcard for many years. A trip was planned that would allow us to experience the often mentioned places including Cradle Mountain, Lake St Clair, Strahan, The ‘Nut’ to name a few. Memories of sub-tropical rainforest, wild west-coast beaches, waterfalls and fantastic walking trails were enough to inspire future trips back to this part of the country.

The drive from Lake St Claire to Scottsdale had us traverse the highland lakes district with great views of the Walls of Jerusalem.
